IK Cluster and wildlife management
The IK Cluster is part of a three-year EU funded project, called SCIONA. The project aims “to strengthen cross-border ecosystem management and wildlife protection through co-designing and implementing conservation monitoring technology with the park authorities and surrounding communities. The IK cluster has extensively engaged local indigenious communities that are involved in the project. Through local community engagement, primarily co-design, several conservation management and monitoring technologies have been developed and continue to be developed.
