Prof. Katja Becker

Katja Becker is a Professor at the Westphalian University of Applied Sciences in Germany, where she works at the intersection of design and computer science. She initiates and leads interdisciplinary and transdisciplinary research projects, publishes in leading academic venues, and has received multiple design awards. Alongside her academic career, she brings extensive experience from design practice: she led a design company for over 20 years and has deep expertise in both strategic and applied design. She is also actively involved in innovative curriculum development, including the design and accreditation of new study programs.
