Smart Mirror project based on resilience

The goal of this trip to Donkerbos was to collaborate with the youth by letting them participate in

testing the Magic Mirror prototype.

The implementation of this prototype was based on the understanding of what was relatable to them in the wise sayings and motivational stories and if the output of the emotion detection was correct, as well as the motivational stories behind it. The discussion about AI and to fully let them understand the goal of the Smart Mirror is another objective we needed to discuss in the Donkerbos community. Positive outcomes (Just to name a few): 1. The youth seem to understand the concept of the Magic Mirror 2. When using the Smart Mirror, the wise sayings and motivational quotes were correctly shown Negative Outcome: 1. There were more adult participants and dropouts than school kids that tested the mirror.
