Designing an AI-Enhanced Information Dissemination System for Tailored Opportunities: Empowering Havana’s Unemployed Youth through Co-Creation

Youth unemployment in areas like Havana, remains a challenge due to limited job opportunities, skills mismatches, and lack of accessible information. Many existing platforms favour urban, digitally connected users, leaving rural youth at a disadvantage. My research explores an AI-enhanced, low-data information system, potentially using SMS or community notice boards to categorise and share tailored opportunities. By co-creating solutions with unemployed youth, this project aims to bridge the opportunity gap and improve access to employment, training, and education.
