Plugging Indigenous Knowledge into virtual reality to establish cultural identity.

The current article explores patterns of cultural identity development in virtual environments, with the aim of introducing a conceptual model of virtual reality. However, despite continuous encroachment on restoring cultural identity and the rapid spread of virtual environments, no study has examined cultural identity and well-being in a virtual environment among youth in Windhoek. Building on an extensive body of the available literature, we intend to provide a comprehensive base on which to further expand theoretically as well as empirically in future work-related concerning cultural identity in virtual environments among youth in Windhoek.
