Proverb Representation using Semantic Web Technologies: A Case Study of Nigerian Yoruba Proverbs.

Proverbs are short, generally known sentences of the folklore which contain truth, wisdom, morals and traditional views in a metaphorical, fixed and memorisable form; used to treat socio-psychological problems. We aim to develop globally accessible application which respond to human contexts or complaints with indigenous proverbs thereby exposing such human users to wisdom enshrined in proverbs.
